Reforestation: An Act of Life for the Amazon
Faced with alarming deforestation, Jaina Paris is concretely committed to the regeneration of the Amazon rainforest.
For each Jaina Paris product purchased, we commit to replanting 10m² of forest. This is not a simple contribution, but a direct investment in the future of biodiversity and ecosystems.
We work closely with local organizations and the Shipibo community to identify priority areas and plant native species, thus contributing to restoring natural balance and fighting climate change.

Fair Trade: A Respectful Partnership with the Shipibo Community
The heart of our formulations lies in Amazonian medicinal plants, whose properties have been known and used for millennia by the Shipibo community. We have established a direct fair trade partnership with this community in Peru. This means we buy our raw materials at a fair and equitable price, well above market prices, thus guaranteeing a stable and sustainable source of income for Shipibo families. This partnership respects their autonomy, culture, and way of life, and allows them to continue living in harmony with the forest they protect. Jihene, the founder of Jaina Paris, spent time within this community, learning directly from healers and Shipibo women. Jaina Paris supports the transmission and preservation of the traditional knowledge of Shipibo healers on Amazonian medicinal plants.
Today, 80% of this ancestral wisdom is at risk of disappearing with the elders. At Jaina, we believe this knowledge is part of humanity’s cultural heritage, a legacy that must be safeguarded for future generations.
For centuries, it has been passed down orally, through teaching and apprenticeship. Yet being a healer is one of the hardest and most demanding roles within indigenous communities, a path that requires lifelong dedication, deep personal sacrifice, and years of rigorous learning that few are willing to undertake today.
